Welcome to Crest Haven Counseling!

We are ready to assist you on your path to improve your emotional wellness.

Mental Health Counseling Services

At Crest Haven Counseling, we will provide a safe, confidential, and nonjudgmental space (online via a HIPAA compliant platform) where you may confidently identify, explore, process, and resolve the mental health and life issues that are interfering with your ability to function effectively in various areas of your life. You will “drive” the process while your counselor helps you to navigate through the obstacles and challenges of the healing process. Anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues do not need to feel overwhelming and unmanageable. If you are ready to make changes in your life, then contact us for an appointment. We are ready to help you to achieve your personal, professional, and wellness goals!

Life Coaching

In addition to Mental Health Counseling Services, at Crest Haven Counseling, our experienced counselors provide personalized life coaching services designed to help you to gain clarity, build confidence, and create meaningful change in your life when you find yourself at a crossroads. Through structured guidance, proven strategies, and compassionate support, you will learn how to overcome obstacles, set purposeful and achievable goals, and take consistent action toward the attainment of your goals. Whether you are navigating a life or career transition, seeking balance, striving to find motivation to achieve a goal, or trying to effectively manage symptoms of stress or frustration, life coaching offers a focused, forward-moving partnership dedicated to your personal and professional growth.

Professional Approach

At Crest Haven Counseling, we are dedicated to assisting individuals on their mental health and wellness journeys. With over 25 years of practice in the field of counseling and life coaching, Cheryl and Todd draw from a wealth of knowledge, training, and experience to empower you in overcoming life's challenges. We use an eclectic approach, integrating a variety of counseling theory strategies (including CBT, mindfulness, person-centered, brief solution-focused), to help you to achieve your treatment goals. Your story matters, and we are here to help you to write your next chapter.

Experienced Clinicians

We are married Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) who believe that every client is a unique individual with their own story, strengths, and challenges. Because of this, we do not use a “one size fits all” approach to counseling and life coaching. Instead, we tailor our treatment plans to meet each client’s specific needs and goals.

We are committed to treating every client with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion. We have dedicated our lives to supporting individuals as they navigate mental health concerns and life’s complexities. Our goal is to empower clients to grow in confidence, resilience, and clarity so that they may pursue both personal and professional aspirations with greater purpose and ease.

Cheryl Beaudoin-Stehlin earned a master’s degree (MS) in Community Counseling in 1991 from Shippensburg University. She has provided counseling services in various settings since 1991, including outpatient mental health centers, hospital-based (crisis intervention), community-based, middle and high schools, and on a military base. For 6 years, Cheryl was a police/911 dispatcher, so she understands the stressors experienced by law enforcement officers, emergency communications specialists, and their loved ones. She also has a keen understanding of the challenges of parenting, career changes, caring for aging parents, and overcoming significant health issues. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys sightseeing with Todd, visiting their children, spending time with her parents, going to the theater, binge-watching TV programs, and relaxing in bookstores.

Todd Stehlin earned a master’s degree (MA) in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University (formerly American School of Professional Psychology) in 2007. He has provided counseling services in a variety of settings, including outpatient mental health centers, community-based, and residential programs since 1999. Todd has worked with clients on a variety of issues, including depression, grief/loss, anxiety, career changes, work-based stressors/challenges, parenting, step-parenting, and marital conflict. In his spare time, Todd enjoys traveling with Cheryl, visiting their children, woodworking, reading, watching documentaries, listening to podcasts, and touring historical sites.
